After developing the visual identity for WHO AFRO's Emergency Preparedness and Response programme, we were brought in to carry that identity into its quarterly report.
The report needed to feel at home within the WHO publication ecosystem — clear, structured and familiar — while giving the EPR identity room to come through.

Global Health Strategies came to us with a series of moodboards and a clear direction: the report should feel like a WHO publication while carrying the WHO Emergency Health and Preparedness (WHO EPR) visual identity.
We worked within the WHO colour palette and publication language, then introduced the EPR system through typography, colour, layouts, and graphic elements.

The report contains a lot of technical information, figures and tables. We looked for opportunities to break that information into clearer visual moments: using data visualisation, key-number callouts, tables and information panels to give readers different ways into the content.

With so much information to bring together, consistency became just as important as visual impact. We built a flexible layout system that could move between dense text, photography, data, tables and longer case studies while still feeling like one publication.
